The keys to stimulating energy flow to the kidneys are the Urinary Bladder and Kidney meridians. The Urinary Bladder lines run along the back of the legs and branch into two lines running up each side of the spine. The Kidney lines run along the inside of the legs into the groin, where they combine in the sacrum before rising up inside the body along the line of the spine. This is described in more detail in The Daoist View of Energy. This flow includes forward and back bends that work these lines very well. Any flow focusing on the spine will be very effective at stimulating and nourishing the kidneys.
